Manila's 10 Best Cakemakers

Metro Weddings January-June 2007 issue has included me in their list of Manila's best cake makers. Many thanks to MW for this recognition!

It was a great challenge and a big privilege to design this cake for them. I wanted to create something with the Filipiniana theme so i used the inspiration from our native "calado" embroidery and the abanico.... all made from sugar and icing. It was also my first time to make the gumpaste flowers of rosal, bougainvilla and hasmin.

Check out the full feature on page 99. The magazine is still available in newstands.
